How to Apply

    CHOOSE

    Suede for dry areas and Velvet for moisture-prone areas.

    PREPARE

    Prep working area. Then paint wall to desired color acting as your primer.

    MIX

    In your new gallon of paint, remove 4 cups of paint to make room for your WallFX packet. Add full packet and stir thoroughly for 3–5 minutes.

    APPLY

    Use random X and Z strokes with a 4-inch brush, maintain a wet edge, and cover entire wall.

  5. 5

    CURE

    Allow to dry for approximately 2 hour. Wait 24 hours for full cure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it be added to any paint?

The Wall FX line is created to be added to any gallon of interior paint. It is suggest to add to a gallon of flat paint for Suede and a gallon of a satin or eggshell for the Velet.

Does this product work on textured walls?

This product will still have a great effect on textured walls, yes. However, your best result for any faux finished surface is a flat surface to ensure maximum effect.

How much coverage does one bag provide?

300-350sqft- just under the coverage of a standard gallon of interior paint.

What is the difference between Suede and Velvet?

Suede is an ultra-flat finish added to any gallon of tinted flat paint. Velvet has a slight sheen to it and is suggested to be added into any gallon of satin or eggshell paint. Suede absorbs all light, while the Velvet captures some of it and mixes both flat reflective movement.

Is it durable enough for bathroom walls?

For any wet areas, we suggest using Velvet and making sure the paint you add the additive to is satin, eggshell, or semi-gloss. Having the sheen will help cater to the durability of the product and allow for easier cleanup.
